I've
been a regular contributor to the Annie's Attic
publications since my first pattern, a potholder, appeared in Annie's
Pattern Club in 1980. Since then, Annie has printed at least ten of my
crochet designs in her publications, and six books or leaflets exclusively of
my designs!
If you're interested, you can currently find my books Cookie Cutter Ornaments and Childhood Memories Spoon Dolls, as well as my "Pineapple" in The Ultimate Christmas Tree book, in the current Annie's Attic catalog. (The Spoon Doll book also appears in the latest House of White Birches catalog.) By the way, those of you who attended the Association of Crafts and Creative Industries' International Exposition in Chicago this July may have seen the sample Cookie Cutter ornaments on display at the Annie's Attic booth.
Over the years, my patterns have also appeared in Workbasket,
Crochet World, and
Women's Circle Crochet magazines.
This year was marked by my first plastic canvas needlepoint sale. With any
luck, the Needlecraft
Shop should be featuring a kit for my photo ornaments in their
November catalog--in plenty of time for Christmas!
Last but not least, avid crocheters will be interested to learn that Annie
Potter, founder of Annie's Attic, has moved on to a new venture, called
Annie Potter Presents.
I was very flattered when she asked me to create some new designs for her, and
hope to see them in print soon.
